Nollywood Movie 'Muri & Ko' Grosses ₦66M Days After Premiere

The Nigerian film "Muri & Ko," directed by Biodun Stephen and starring Kunle Remi, has grossed over ₦66 million during its opening weekend.

The film, a cooperation with FilmOne Entertainment, has been praised for its superb performances, catchy soundtrack, and original storyline, confirming its status as a candidate for the highest-grossing Nollywood film in 2024.

According to box office pundits, the Inkblot Productions' latest film is expected to cross the ₦100 million milestone soon.

This accomplishment triggers a boost for Nigeria's local box office, which has struggled in recent years.

"Muri & Ko" is Inkblot's second collaboration with ace filmmaker Biodun Stephen, following the critically acclaimed "Big Love."

The film's top cast includes Bisola Aiyeola, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori (Kiekie), Bucci Franklin, Fiyinfoluwa Asenuga, and more.
