The Special Counsel for IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, Aloy Ejimakor, has pleaded with the Supreme Court to ensure justice in the agitator’s case.
He pleaded with the Supreme Court to make sure Kanu’s trial ended today.
In a tweet, he urged the court to decide Kanu’s case in accordance with equity, justice, and good conscience.
“As the Supreme Court convenes to hear Onyendu #MNK’s appeal today, let equity, justice & good conscience guide the court’s hand to undo the grave injustice that was done to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu almost two years ago,” writes Ejimakor. There is a time limit on injustice. Let that deadline be today.
According to earlier reports, the Supreme Court will hear Kanu’s petition about his ongoing imprisonment at a DSS facility in Abuja on Thursday (today).
The appeal was brought on November 3, 2022, and it was against the Court of Appeal’s ruling that, on October 28, 2022, had ordered a stay of execution of its previous order clearing him of all accusations and ordering his release from the secret police’s custody.
