Nigerians Report Toyin Abraham To Netflix

Nigerians are flooding the streaming platform Netflix with complaints, requesting that Nollywood actress and Filmmaker Toyin Abraham's movies be removed.

Netizens encouraged Netflix to take a hard stance against such behavior and show a commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all of its viewers.

A screenshot of his letter to the streaming platform was circulated on social media, where he urged others to follow in his footsteps. In the letter, he encouraged the streaming site to boycott her movies, stating that such abuse is distressing, especially given Netflix's reputation for varied and inclusive entertainment.

The movie producer has received strong criticism from Nigerians for arresting a bully who called her and her son out on X.

Twitter influencer Danny Young had threatened that should Ayo not be released, they would mass report Toyin’s Instagram page and then move to send emails to Netflix.
