The Nigeria National League (NNL) has expressed its satisfaction with the impressive performances of its clubs in the ongoing President Federation Cup.
Five NNL clubs - Sokoto United, Inter Lagos, EFCC, Kebbi United, and El-Kanemi Warriors - secured their spots in the quarter-finals of the competition after successful outings on Wednesday.
NNL Chairman George Aluo commended the clubs for their solid performances in the Round of 16 fixtures. Speaking to the media, Aluo described the display of quality by the NNL teams as a testament to the league's standards this season.
"This is a solid performance from our clubs! This has shown the quality of the NNL this season, and we are proud of these satisfying results," stated Aluo. He expressed confidence in the ability of NNL clubs to progress further in the competition and compete for the title.
In the quarter-final pairings, EFCC FC will take on Kebbi United, while Abia Warriors will square off against Sokoto United. El-Kanemi Warriors will clash with Inter Lagos, and Sunshine Stars will meet Kano Pillars in what promises to be an exciting phase of the competition.
