Nigerdock has handed over Corporate Social Responsibility projects valued at N1.5 billion to Igbologun Island, in Lagos.
The projects range from school buildings, buses, and Police stations, among others.
The Managing Director of Nigerdock, Mr Maher Jamakani, said that the world-class facilities that have been donated to the community will help improve the lives of the people of the community, adding that the community has also been connected to a twenty-four power source of Nigerdock.
Jamakani disclosed that the school has a capacity for 800 students, adding that the school will also be provided with a non-stop power supply.
He explained that the community has been connected to Eko Distribution Company for a twenty-four-hour power supply.
He said: “This school can contain 800 students and we will be providing all the power and support for the school going forward and the support will also go to all the communities here at Igbologun and neighbouring communities.
