Nicki Minaj Congratulates Davido, Chioma On Their Union

American award-winning rapper, Nicki Minaj congratulated Afrobeats musician Davido on his recent traditional marriage to longtime companion Chioma.

On June 27, 2024, the rapper interrupted her performance during a stop on her GAG City tour in Portugal to honor Davido's recent wedding.

She asked, "Wait. Hold on, hold on, did Davido get married?" after which the crowd yelled "Yes."

"Congratulations to Davido and Chioma! I guess I was ahead of my time when I wrote this verse," after which she began to rap her verse on Davido's song Holy Ground.
