The Cybersecurity Awareness Exhibition for the Hajj Season 2024 was organized by the National Cybersecurity Authority in partnership with the Ministry of the Interior (MOI) and took place at the MOI Employees Club in Makkah.
The event, which was attended by the Deputy Assistant Minister of the Interior for Technology Affairs, Eng. Thamer Al-Harbi, aimed to increase awareness of cybersecurity using innovative and interactive methods and promote the importance of national security values, as reported by SPA.
This four-day exhibition targeted government agency employees participating in this year's Hajj season and covered topics such as cybersecurity concepts and their significance at a national level.
It also included a live simulation of cyberattacks on individuals and organizations, guidance on safe practices through interactive methods, and general advice on how to avoid falling victim to electronic phishing.
