Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has spoken out following the criticisms she received from the Muslim community over her upcoming movie project.
Nancy had earlier promoted her upcoming project on her Instagram page. In photos she posted online, the talented movie star was captured wearing a niqab and holding a gun in some of the photos, and in another photo, she was captured with her cast members, one of whom wore a hijab for a robbery scene.
However, a Muslim lady expressed her displeasure with the photographs on her TikTok profile, accusing the actress of disrespecting her, her religion, and everything she symbolizes.
She informed the movie actress about what the Niqab signifies and why it should not be used as a costume to promote horrible behavior in society.
The lady expressed her dissatisfaction with people who do not share her ideals and use their clothing for selfish reasons.
Reacting to it, Nancy Isime, via her Instagram page, shared new photos of herself alone and noted how she is always out of the way and in her world with no drama or gossip and is only focused on chasing her goals and money.
She stated that she chose peace and that she doesn’t bother anybody, nor is she bothered by anybody.
