On Monday, a few angry women demonstrated in front of the US Embassy in Abuja while still wearing their underwear. They were upset about the results of the 2023 presidential election.
The women, who are Free Nigeria Movement members, went to the US Embassy to report what they claimed to be election fraud in 2023.
The armed protesters demanded that the US government impose a visa ban on those who instigated the violence during the election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, announced that Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, had won the February 25 presidential election.
Despite allegations of widespread election rigging and fraud, Tinubu was declared the winner of the vote.
His main rivals, Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have since petitioned the Election Tribunal to seek their individual redress.
