Naira Marley, Sam Larry Make First Appearance After Being Remanded By Police

Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, and popular show promoter Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, have made their first public appearances since being released from custody. Naira Marley, Sam Larry make first appearance after being remanded by Police Sam Larry posted a video of himself, Marley, and Zino in Lekki. The two were arrested and remanded in October for their alleged involvement in the death of a musician, Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad. Naira Marley and three others were remanded in custody by a Sabo-Yaba Chief Magistrate's Court for the alleged conspiracy and murder of singer Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad. Ogedengbe Fisayo, 37, Ayobami Sadiq, 27, and Samson Eletu, 45, were also remanded. Adeola Olatubosun, the Chief Magistrate, ordered the remand for 21 days in the police State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCID) and adjourned the case until October 25. She also ordered that the suspects be allowed to consult with doctors and lawyers of their choice. The Lagos State Police Command, however, released them on November 17 after they met their bail conditions. Naira Marley previously stated that he was not involved in the death of Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad. Naira Marley expressed his willingness to help the police investigate the death of his former signee, Mohbad, in a statement posted on his Instagram account. Mohbad was reported dead at the age of 27 in Lagos State. Even though his death was faced with a lot of uncertainty and controversy, he was buried on September 13. However, following an investigation by the Lagos State Police Command to unravel the cause of his death, Mohbad’s remains were exhumed for an autopsy.
