The South African broadcasting company, MultiChoice, has once again raised the prices of its DStv and GOtv packages in response to the economic difficulties in Nigeria.
A release titled “Price adjustment on DStv and GOtv packages,” signed by CEO John Ugbe, On Monday, revealed that these new prices will be effective from March 1. The announcement included the updated prices for each bouquet on GOtv and DStv: “Dear valued partner, Please be informed of the price adjustment to our DStv and GOtv subscription packages effective 1st March 2025.”
The company explained that the increase is due to ongoing economic challenges in Nigeria, and the decision was made following thorough consideration and analysis.
“Due to rising operational costs stemming from prevailing economic factors, we have reluctantly had to adjust the prices of our DStv and GOtv subscription packages. We recognize the potential impact of this change on our valued partners and made this decision only after careful evaluation and in-depth analysis,” the statement added.
MultiChoice assured customers that it remains dedicated to providing top quality entertainment and excellent service while expressing gratitude for their ongoing support.

For DStv packages, users on Compact will now pay N19,000, an increase from N15,000, while Compact Plus users will pay N30,000, up from N24,500. Premium users will see their fees rise to N44,500, from N29,500. The GOtv Max package will now be priced at N8,500; Supa will be N11,400, and Supa Plus will cost N16,800.
