Nigerian comedian Freedom Atsepoyi, popularly known as Mr Jollof has openly criticised Air Peace for their frequent flight delays.
In a recent social media post, Mr Jollof expressed his displeasure with the airline, querying who would be held accountable for the financial losses incurred as a result of the delays.
The comedian, who has previously expressed support for noteworthy personalities such as Burna Boy, remarked that if Air Peace is unable to maintain its flight schedules, it may be better suited to a different line of business, such as point-of-sale (POS) transactions.
He has also urged Nigeria's Minister of Aviation and Aerospace, Festus Keyamo, to enforce punishment against airlines who mistreat their passengers.
In his social media post, Mr Jollof detailed his own experience with Air Peace, stating that despite his regular travels with the airline (more than 50 flights this year alone), he has consistently experienced delays.
He described a particularly aggravating situation in which a flight he had scheduled for 3 PM to Abuja was delayed until 9:30 PM, with the only explanation given being "operational issues and schedule maintenance."
