Coach Jose Mourinho of AS Roma has been given a four-game suspension by the governing body of European Football, UEFA.
The suspension resulted from his altercation with English referee Anthony Taylor during the Europa League final, in which Roma was defeated by Sevilla on penalties.
The accusation refers to a post-game altercation in which Mourinho yelled obscenities at Taylor in a parking lot.
Taylor had issued a booking to 60-year-old Mourinho during the final in Budapest.
Mourinho has been charged with using derogatory or harsh words.
The record for the most bookings in a Europa League game was set by Taylor, who showed yellow cards to 13 players, seven of which were Roma players.
Regarding the behavior of their supporters and players during the game, both teams also faced a number of charges.
Following accusations of hurling items, igniting pyrotechnics, and illegal team behavior, Roma was additionally fined 55,000 euros (£47,300) and prohibited from selling tickets to its traveling supporters for one European match the following season.
