POSTED ON October 14, 2023 •   Uncategorized      BY Ugwuagwu John •   VIEWS 235

A Lagos coroner's court convened in Ikorodu has summoned prominent music artists, namely Abdulazeez Fashola, known as Naira Marley, Owodunni Eletu, also recognized as Sam Larry, and Owodunni Ibrahim, who goes by the name Primeboy, in connection with the demise of Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as MohBad.

The Coroner Magistrate, Adedayo Shotobi, issued a directive for the aforementioned individuals to appear before the court on October 25. Their presence is required to shed light on the incident and help identify any responsible parties connected to the tragic occurrence leading to MohBad's death. The Coroner's Court is tasked with the responsibility of investigating the causes and circumstances surrounding deaths classified as unnatural, violent, or cases where the cause remains undisclosed. The Lagos State Police Command disclosed last Friday that a physical altercation had taken place between MohBad and his childhood friend, PrimeBoy, in Ikorodu, ultimately resulting in the singer's demise due to injuries sustained during the altercation. During a press conference, Lagos Police Commissioner Idowu Owohunwa revealed the identities of those detained in connection with the sudden passing of the singer. According to Owohunwa, PrimeBoy, one of the suspects, had attended MohBad's event in Ikorodu on September 10, accompanied by the singer. The altercation between MohBad and Ibrahim (Primeboy) transpired at the conclusion of the event, escalating into a violent confrontation that inflicted injuries on the artiste. These injuries ultimately led to his tragic demise, with Ibrahim being treated as a suspect in the case. The police have also implicated Naira Marley, MohBad's former label boss, and Sam Larry, as potential accomplices in this incident. The police commissioner said: “While Abdulazeez Fashola (Naira Marley) and Samson Balogun (Sam Larry) denied allegations of criminal liability in the death of MohBad and pleaded an alibi to justify their non-being complicit in the incident that occurred from 10 to 12 September 2023, there are ample electronic and credible witness pieces of evidence linking them to cyberbullying, a threat to life, assault occasioning harm, and conduct likely to cause a breach of the peace against the deceased in his lifetime.” He also named an auxiliary nurse, Ms Feyisayo Ogedengbe, as the prime suspect in MohBad’s death. According to him, the nurse, who was invited by MohBad’s friend, Ayobami Sodiq, aka Spending, to inject the singer at his residence, administered three injections believed to have led to the chain of reactions that eventually led to the singer’s demise, Vanguard reports. According to him, Ogedengbe administered “multiple and highly potent” injections on MohBad that led to him vomiting and developing goosebumps. He said Ogedengbe was unqualified to perform the role of a home nurse and did so in a non-clinical environment. https://twitter.com/tvcnewsng/status/1712982621188219359
