Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has prayed that God provide Bola Tinubu, the incoming president of Nigeria, good health and wisdom in his new role.
In his message wishing Tinubu a happy 71st birthday, Osinbajo included his prayer.
The Vice President prayed in the message he signed that God would give the incoming president additional strength and wisdom.
"We appreciate the Almighty God for his grace and facilitation upon your life, which has enabled your many years of service and contributions to Lagos State, our country, and our great party.
"Your 71st birthday is special because it falls just as you're about to embark on your biggest job yet as president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
"That the Lord would guide you in this task and grant you health, strength, and wisdom to serve our people and our country well."
