Sofyan Amrabat on Manchester United's Radar.
The Moroccan international, Amrabat has caught the attention of the Red Devils after his impressive performances in the World Cup. According to reports, Manchester United has reached an agreement with Fiorentina for the transfer of Amrabat, and his medical has been scheduled ahead of completing his transfer to Old Trafford.
However, the deal is yet to be closed as Fiorentina has set a reported price tag of around £26 million for their man, and the two clubs are still yet to agree on a fee.
Amrabat's Impressive Performance
Amrabat has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in recent weeks, with reports going as far as to say personal terms had already been agreed. The midfielder is understood to be considering his future after an impressive World Cup with Morocco.
He is everything the Red Devils need in midfield. He is tough. He's got great tackling skills, impressive passing range, brilliant vision. Reports say he is the perfect Casemiro substitute.
Yet, Manchester United still have solid midfield covers including recently purchased Mason Mount, Casemiro, Eriksen, McTominay, and wonder-boy Mainoo.
Manchester United's Priority
Manchester United's priority this summer is to sign a new striker, and the club remains focused on Atalanta's Rasmus Højlund despite recent stories linking them to Tottenham's Harry Kane. The club is preparing to make an opening bid for Højlund, who has already agreed personal terms with Manchester United.
Fred's Departure
Manchester United is also looking to offload some players to free up more funds for new signings. The club has planned for an outgoing in the midfield department, and Fred is expected to leave this summer.
