Social media critic, Martins Vincent Otse known popularly as VeryDarkMan stated his willingness to submit new evidence against popular crossdresser Idris Okuneye, nicknamed Bobrisky on Monday.
This happened at the National Assembly for the investigative hearing over his allegations of Bobrisky bribing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, with N15 million.
VeryDarkMan, speaking through his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, during the House of Representatives investigative hearing, stated that further evidence had yet to be put online.
According to Adeyanju, "VeryDarkMan has not said he will not talk because we came prepared with additional evidence that is not available online." He is not saying he will not assist the committee; nevertheless, because the person who should be here is not present, he will speak indirectly through his counsel.
Previously, VeryDarkMan had pledged not to speak in the House of Representatives' ongoing investigative hearing due to the absence of Bobrisky and the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The activist said: “I will not say anything until Bobrisky and EFCC chairman are present. If I say anything, let me die.”
In an audio leak by VeryDarkMan, Bobrisky stated that the money was intended to assist the EFCC in dismissing the money laundering accusations against him.
Bobrisky, on the other hand, disputed the claim and described the recording as phony.
Against this context, the House of Representatives convened an investigation hearing with Bobrisky, VeryDarkMan, and EFCC Chairman Ola Olukayode.
