Lateef Adedimeji Unveils New Netflix Movie 'Lisabi'

Popular Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has teased fans with announcing his latest movie, ‘Lisabi,’ a biopic set to premiere on Netflix.

The actor, famed for his variety and award-winning performances, announced the news on Instagram, thanking everyone who helped make the film possible.

In an Instagram post, Adedimeji referred to "Lisabi" as his "newborn," citing his previous success with the movie "Ayinla."

He explained that the new film follows the life of Lisabi, a renowned Egba warrior and farmer. Lateef Adedimeji dedicated the biopic to the Egba people, the Yoruba race, and all African and Black communities worldwide.

He thanked the film's director, Niyi Akinmolayan, and the entire cast and crew for their contributions.

The highly anticipated film is set to premiere on September 27, 2024. Following the news, Lateef Adedimeji's Instagram post triggered a flood of responses from colleagues and fans, who expressed their excitement and support for the future film.
