The Lagos State Government, on Tuesday, said it will be honouring officers of the State's Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) who have proven to be outstanding in their duties.
The Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Transportation, Sola Giwa, disclosed this in a public statement.
Earlier, LASTMA on its X handle, posted that it was celebrating the exceptional achievements of an officer identified simply as Mrs. Adejoke for being “LASTMA Best Zonal Head for the month of March, 2024.”
“The agency appreciates her hard work and dedication in traffic management showing leadership and the ability to motivate the entire zones. Cash gift was presented to Mrs Adejoke by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation Hon. Sola Giwa. It (the reward) is going to be a monthly thing.”
He said that the move was to encourage LASTMA officers who had been diligent in their duty of traffic managements.
