LAGOS STATE, Nigeria — The Lagos State Government has called for collaboration among security agencies to ensure tightened security of lives and property across the state.
The government also called to resident to embrace peace in public and private sectors.
The call was made by the Secretary to the State Government, Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, during a quarterly meeting with the leadership of the Police Community Relations Committee and heads of paramilitary agencies in Lagos State, held in Alausa, Ikeja.
Salu-Hundeyin said the “S” pillar of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES Plus Developmental Agenda, underscoring the administration’s commitment to ensuring the security of lives and property.
She hailed the leadership of Sanwo-Olu’s for its consistency strategies to strengthen the state’s security framework.
The SSG urged security and paramilitary personnel to adopt innovative measures to enhance their operations.
She said, “Our security agencies must continuously innovate to keep Lagos at the forefront of safety in Africa. Cooperation and responsiveness are essential, and we expect all stakeholders to work collaboratively to achieve this.”
Commending the PCRC and paramilitary agencies for their dedication to community safety, the SSG haiked their efforts while reminding them that achieving greater results required sustained hard work and commitment.
