The Lagos State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure has commenced training of 60 engineers in the state in bridge construction.
The three-day training with the theme, 'Bridge Building: From Theory to Practice,' commenced at the Public Service Staff Development Centre, Magodo, Lagos State.
It is aimed at enhancing the skills and expertise of engineers in bridge and road construction.
The training covers various aspects of bridge building such as design, construction, and maintenance.
The Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Infrastructure, Olufemi Daramola, said the participants were drawn from the state’s Ministry of Works.
“The training is not just an event but a cornerstone in the state’s ongoing commitment towards enhancing infrastructure development,” Daramola said.
He urged the participants to acquire from the well of knowledge and experience of the resource persons.
