The Lagos State Police Command has revealed that TikToker Ojesanmi Afeez, also known as Oloba Salo, was shot in the state's Lekki region.

Tunde Perry, a friend of Oloba Salo, expressed concern over the event on Thursday.

Perry, a TikTok user, stated his friend was fighting for his life at Perez Medcare Hospital, Lekki Phase 2, after being wounded in the leg by intruders who stole his gold chain.

Perry stated, "They have shot Salo in the leg." They also snatched his gold chain from a filling station in Lekki. Some boys just rushed him to the hospital, and I've gone there now."

A viral video shows Oloba Salo's white AMG GLE 43 Mercedes Benz car splattered with blood and a bullet case on the driver's seat.

In a post on X, Lagos police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin praised Evercare Hospital's doctors.

"Special appreciation/commendation to Evercare Hospital, Lekki for promptly accepting/beginning medical treatment of gunshot victim, Ojesanmi Afeez aka Oloba Salo, and equally promptly notifying the police," he wrote, asking other hospitals not to turn away gunshot victims.

Before the incident, Oloba Salo appealed in a video with his manager, Sula, to provide him with security men.

“Sula, please provide me with security. I ought to have had. Help me with one mopol, Sula, my daddy,” he screamed.

However, social media influencer Dj Chicken cast a dreadful curse on his colleague, Salo.

Chicken, as is customary, opened a TikTok live session and seized the opportunity to comment on Salo's demise.

Speaking negatively, he stated that Salo will die in his hospital bed. Chicken described how Salo warned him he would have a stroke and then inquired as to who was currently experiencing a stroke-like scenario.
