Kwara College Students To Face Discipline For Breasts-Grabbing Photo

Two students from the Kwara State College of Education, Ilọrin, are set to face a disciplinary panel following allegations of immoral behavior during their graduation ceremony, a move that has garnered significant attention. The students in question have been identified as Sulyman Tawakaltu and Mohammed AbdulSalam, both enrolled in the agricultural department of the institution. A viral photograph from the graduation ceremony depicted AbdulSalam engaging in an alleged improper act by grabbing Tawakaltu's breasts during the sign-out event for the college's final-year students, which took place last week. An internal memo from the college cited the incident as "the display of immoral practice by two students of the institution" and, in response, mandated the "Students’ Disciplinary Committee (SDC) to bring the two students to book to serve as a deterrent to others." Hajia Habitat Zubair, the Public Relations Officer of the college, confirmed the initiation of an investigation into the matter. However, she clarified that no formal pronouncement had been made by the college regarding the incident as of yet. The college's decision to address the alleged misconduct through disciplinary proceedings reflects its commitment to upholding standards of conduct and ethics among its student body, emphasizing the importance of maintaining decorum during public events and ceremonies.
