Legendary Nigerian juju musician, Dr. Sunday Adeniyi-Adegeye, widely known as King Sunny Ade, has refuted claims made by his daughter regarding his abduction in the country.
He labeled the reports as false and malicious, stating that they originated from his daughter, Damilola Esther Adeniyi-Adegeye, and her associates.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the music legend assured his fans not to be alarmed, as he is safe, healthy, and not under any form of abduction within the country or abroad.
He declared: “I, Dr. Sunday Adeniyi-Adegeye, MFR, also referred to as King Sunny Ade, am alive and well. The falsehoods regarding my disappearance or being missing are entirely untrue.”
