The Sabon Garin Nassarawa-Tirkaniya region of the Chikun Local Government region of Kaduna State is under a 24-hour curfew.
In a statement, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, the state commissioner for the Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, explained that the decision was made as a result of a breakdown in law and order that resulted in the deaths of two citizens in an urban gang violence event.
Security agencies have been told to enforce the curfew in the mentioned area in order to restore order as investigations continue, the man stated.
He urged local residents to carefully abide by the curfew, which is effective right away.
