Canadian singer, Justin Bieber has distanced himself from the ongoing legal dispute involving his longtime partner Sean "Diddy" Combs.
The two singers forged early links when Bieber was 15 and signed to Usher's record label, at the outset of his career.
The 30-year-old artist is focusing on his wife, Hailey Bieber, and his infant son, Jack Blues, whose birth was revealed last month, according to PEOPLE in an exclusive.
According to a close source who pleaded anonymity, “He’s aware of Diddy’s arrest and all the allegations following recent sex trafficking and sexual assault lawsuits. It is not anything that he wants to focus on, though,”
The insider notes that the singer has instead “been in a happy bubble since baby Jack was born,” adding that, “He just wants to focus on being a great dad and husband,”
Following Diddy's arrest, U.S. Attorney Damian Williams in a statement disclosed that Diddy had been taken into custody by federal agents and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Reacting to the Diddy's arrest, his lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, in a statement said his client is "an innocent man with nothing to hide."
"Sean 'Diddy' Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children, and working to uplift the Black community. He is an imperfect person but he is not a criminal,” Agnifilo said.
