Veteran Nollywood actor, Jide Kosoko celebrates his junior colleague, Kehinde Bankole, following her AMVCA win.
Kehinde Bankole won Best Lead Actress for her lead role in Adire at the just concluded 10th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
Taking to his Instagram page to celebrate her, Jide Kosoko noted how the award was long overdue. He noted how she had worked hard for it, hence why she deserved the award. He admonished her to keep shining.
He said: “This award is overdue. You deserve this; you have worked for it. Continue to shine baby girl”
However, Bankole had hinted at a personal struggle as she shared a cryptic post via her Instagram page revealing that she had been battling an unspecified personal issue that had worsened by the day.
Giving an update to it, Kehinde noted how it’s okay for one to share the not-so-cool part of their lives with the public. The delectable screen goddess revealed her struggle as she stated that she was putting her shyness aside to receive encouragement from her fans.
