Former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike's old footage where he vows to reject ministerial position resurfaces.
RocketParrot reported that Wike and his Kaduna, Ebonyi, and Jigawa counterparts were nominated for ministerial positions.
The 28-man ministerial list submitted by President Tinubu to the Senate consists of technocrats, party loyalists, and members of the opposition party.
Wike's nomination as minister has been speculated but argued due to the ex-governors vow to reject any ministerial appointment.
Resurfacing on the popular micro-blogging site, Twitter, the former Rivers Helsman is reminded he promised not to become a minister.
In the old video making rounds on Twitter, Wike said,
“Only one person can be a minister from a state, I will not be a minister. I will not. I am not a liability, Rivers State is an asset.
“So if you don’t want to win an election, it’s your business. I’m not the one running the election.
“He who wears the shoes knows where it pinches him”.
