Dele Agbeyo, a popular Nigerian gospel singer, also known as Dele Gold, has died.
Dele reportedly died on Wednesday after a brief illness.
Dele Gold's colleague, Alayo Melody, confirmed his death in a post on his official Facebook, writing, "Dele Gold died kee? Ahhh, this is getting too much. May God help us prevent this early death. Dele Agbeyo, may your soul rest well."
Dele Gold, commonly known as The Miliki Gospel King, was born in Usi, Ekiti State, but spent his childhood in Faforiji, Osun State.
He was the CEO of Prodel Music, a music label and production company. He was also a younger brother to Mr Tope Agbeyo, a philanthropist and chairman Cornfield Group of Companies.
His death occurred just a month after the death of gospel vocalist Aduke Gold.
