The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL)'s revised pump pricing for gasoline has been rejected by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).
Fuel was to be sold for between N480 and N570 per litre at outlets around the nation. The pricing modification was made in accordance with "market realities," according to NNPC Ltd.'s Chief Corporate Communications Officer Garba Deen Muhammad.
Comrade Joe Ajaero, the president of the NLC, responded to the increase by saying they wouldn't tolerate the increase in petrol prices. The federal government, according to him, cannot unilaterally raise the price of petrol.
