Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has redeployed two commissioners who are loyalists of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike even as he reshuffles his cabinet.
The former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor SAN, was deployed to the Ministry of Special Duties (Governor’s Office) while the former Commissioner for Finance, Isaac Kamalu, who has been deployed to the Ministry of Employment Generation and Economic Empowerment.
This was contained in a statement issued in Port Harcourt, the state capital, on Wednesday by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Tammy Danagogo, adding that the redeployment take immediate effect.
The statement titled ‘Cabinet Reshuffle,’ reads, “His Excellency, the Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle which include, “Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor SAN, the former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice is now deployed to the Ministry of Special Duties (Governor’s Office). Barr. Isaac Kamalu, the former Commissioner for Finance, is now deployed to the Ministry of Employment Generation and Economic Empowerment.”
“They are to handover to their respective Permanent Secretaries immediately as this deployment takes immediate effect. All hand-over processes must be completed immediately.”
