Colleagues, fans, and families of late veteran actor John Okafor, better known as Mr Ibu, gathered on Wednesday, June 26th, to pay their respects to the late actor.
The veteran actor, who had battled for his life after undergoing two surgeries died in March 2024.
The president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas later confirmed the news as he revealed he died of Cardiac Arrest. His death threw the entertainment industry into mourning as he was the beloved of many.
On Wednesday, a night of tribute was held for the late actor, who had in attendance many of his colleagues. In photos making rounds online, the actor’s wife and her children were captured looking solemn as they bade their father farewell.
