Fenerbahçe made an official bid to sign Fred from Manchester United worth €15m, with Fenerbahçe also agreeing to pay €2m in add-ons. Fred's contract at Old Trafford is scheduled to expire next summer. The former Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder is a well-liked member of the United squad, but he has rarely appeared to live up to the potential that led the Red Devils to pay £47 million to acquire him from the Ukrainian team in 2018.
