The Forbes 2023 list of the most influential women in the world was made public on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.
One hundred outstanding women from a variety of industries, including business, media, politics, entertainment, and technology, are enlisted.
Four primary criteria were used in the compilation of the list: impact, media, money, and spheres of influence.
Along with MO Abudu, Ngozi Okonji-Iweala, the Director-General of the World Trade Organization, is one of the two Nigerians ranked 87th on the list.
The fact that Okonjo-Iweala is included shows how powerful her leadership is and how important a role she plays in changing the face of the world.
Taylor Swift, who was also enlisted, is the first woman to appear on the list outside of politics and government.
She accomplished the feat "solely based on her songs and performances," according to Forbes.
Taylor Swift's net worth was recently updated on Forbes' website to $1.1 billion.
“With a record-breaking world tour, the ability to move economies, and a US$1.1 billion (RM5.1 billion) net worth, the 33-year-old entertainer ranks among the most influential women on the planet,” Forbes wrote of the pop star.
