The message of condolence was released in a statement on Monday by the governor's spokesperson, Sunusi Dawakin-Tofa.
The deadly accident happened near Shantake, about seven kilometers from Danbatta town, while the victims were returning to Kano after accompanying a newlywed bride to her new home. Unfortunately, their journey back ended in tragedy.
Among those who lost their lives were members of the same extended family. Alhaji Surajo, the elder brother, lost two of his children, while his younger brother, Alhaji Salisu Dan Raino, lost three, totaling five fatalities.

He offered prayers for comfort and strength for the grieving families and the Danbatta community.
"This tragedy has profoundly affected us all. The anguish of losing loved ones in such a tragic way is beyond comprehension.
On behalf of the government and the people of Kano State, I extend our deepest sympathies and prayers to the bereaved families, the Danbatta Local Government Chairman, and all the residents of the area," the governor stated.
Yusuf also promised the community that the state government would provide support during this challenging time and prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal peace and their families the strength to cope with this irreparable loss.
