The Federal Government through the Minister of Transportation, Senator Sa’id Alkali, on Tuesday commissioned the Ultra-Modern Mega motor park in Gombe State.
The Minister's Media Office stated that this project is the first of its kind in the history of Gombe State since its establishment in 1996.
Alkali emphasized that the construction of the mega motor park signifies a significant improvement in transportation infrastructure and the overall quality of life for residents in the area.
He also praised Governor Inuwa Yahaya for his commitment to delivering transformative projects since taking office in 2019.
Alkali encouraged transport stakeholders, especially transport unions, to utilize the facility responsibly to further advance the progress, prosperity, and peace of the State.
He highlighted the uniqueness and significance of the Mega Motor Park within the Nigerian transportation sector and suggested that it could serve as a model for other states.
Additionally, he commended Governor Yahaya Inuwa for continuing the legacy of infrastructural development set by previous governors of the State.
