Controversial media personality and critic, Daniel Regha has turned to the X platform to discuss Afrobeats.
He claimed it was insulting to describe anyone as the "king of Afrobeats," unless it was Fela.
He boldly stated that Fela Anikulapo Kuti was the only one who deserved to be referred to as the "king of Afrobeats."
He cited Fela as the reason for the existence of Afrobeats. He also disclosed that not only did Fela pioneer the Afrobeats genre, but his songs continue to inspire many Nigerian singers today.
He further revealed that Fela remains number one while others are self-titled.
Now recalling just two days ago, Daniel and reality TV star Phyna had engaged in an online spat after Daniel Regha called out Fela for making a poor decision to disrespect Edo men.
