In the grand finale draws of First City Monument Bank's (FCMB) Millionaire Promo Season 9, four lucky customers emerged as instant millionaires, each walking away with N1 million. The draws, held in Abuja, Lagos, Ondo, and Port Harcourt, were supervised by officials from the Federal Competition & Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) and the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC).

Running from April to November, Season 9 of the millionaire promo rewarded a total of 2,310 fortunate customers with cash prizes ranging from N5,000 to N1 million. Among these, ten customers were each bestowed with the grand prize of N1 million. Additionally, 14,780 customers received various consolation prizes, culminating in a total of 17,080 winners.

The nationwide promo aimed to encourage financial security, future planning, and investment opportunities, urging participants to reduce reliance on social assistance and strive towards a brighter future.

Thompson Akinnodi, a civil servant from Ondo State, expressed satisfaction with the transparency of the selection process, affirming, "The FCMB Millionaire promo shows the bank keeps its promises." He plans to utilize his winnings for his children's education and Christmas celebrations, expressing gratitude for the unexpected financial boost.

Onuoha Harol, a businessman from Port Harcourt, described the N1 million as a fantastic Christmas gift and expressed gratitude to FCMB. He intends to invest the money in his block industry and real estate business, with plans to expand and employ more people. Harol recommends banking with FCMB for success.

Shamsideen Fashola, FCMB’s Divisional Head for Personal Banking, expressed pride in the program's impact, stating, "We are happy to produce another set of millionaires in Season 9 of the promo." Since its inception in 2012, the promo has driven financial inclusion and fostered a savings culture, transforming the lives of thousands nationwide. Fashola urged winners to make judicious use of their cash prizes.

With winners representing diverse occupations, from drivers to entrepreneurs and police officers, Millionaire Promo Season 9 underscores FCMB's commitment to rewarding customers and promoting economic well-being. The bank's mission, centered on prioritizing customers, remains evident as it continues to deliver offerings aligned with personal and business aspirations.
