The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has announced the suspension of all access gate fees at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
In a statement released on Saturday and signed by its spokesperson, Dr. Obiageli Orah, the agency indicated that this decision aims to ease the traffic congestion faced by users of the airport road.
The suspension is set to be in effect from Friday, January 24, 2025, until Friday, February 7, 2025.
The statement reads, “The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria wishes to inform the public that all access gates at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, will be suspended to help alleviate the traffic burden on our airport road users.
We sincerely empathize with the inconvenience caused by the ongoing construction and are dedicated to ensuring a smooth travel experience for all road users.”
