An auction will be held to bid on a pair of blue suede shoes owned by Elvis Presley.
In the 1950s, the American singer performed both on and off the Steve Allen TV show while sporting the size 10.5 shoes.
After recording the popular song "Blue Suede Shoes," penned by fellow singer Carl Perkins, for his debut album in 1956, he got the pair.
Afterward, the night before he was drafted into the US Army in 1958, Presley donated the shoes.
Presley gave the shoes to his close friend Alan Fortas, who later wrote about how he got them.
The shoes have been authenticated by Jimmy Velvet, Presley's close friend of 22 years, who has been referred to by the auction house as "the world's leading Elvis authority."
The shoes are expected to fetch between £100,000 and £120,000 when they go under the hammer on Friday at auctioneers Henry Aldridge & Son in Wiltshire.
