The Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, Prof. Edward Olanipekun, has said the institution will commence the Pharmacy programme next session, 2024/2025 academic year.
Speaking during the matriculation ceremony for 6,738 new students for the 2023/2024 academic session, the VC stated, “The Pharmacy programme will commence in the 2024/2025 academic session.
“The inaugural Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy will soon be appointed for the programme’s unveiling,” the institution said.
Olanipekun emphasised that EKSU was one of Nigeria’s most sought-after universities and advised new students to focus on their studies and avoid involvement with unregistered campus associations.
He cautioned against harassing, intimidating, or bullying, warning that any such behavior would result in disciplinary action.
He urged new students to report any harassment or intimidation they experience to the appropriate university authorities for prompt action.
