During the Eid-el-Fitri celebrations across the world yesterday and today, while some people were in happy moods, others were not because of tragedies that befall them or their loved ones.

● Death of Osolo Monarch in Lagos
The Osolo of Isolo in Lagos State, Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka, died shortly after observing the Eid prayers on Wednesday.
● Ex-Kogi gov, Ibrahim Idris’ son dies after Eid prayers
Similarly, a former governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, lost his son, Muhammed.
Muhammed was said to have slumped and died after Eid prayers at his Abuja residence.
●Tragedy As Passengers Enter Lagoon on the 3rd Mainland Bridge
Also, another tragedy occurred yesterday as passengers plunged into a lagoon on the 3rd mainland bridge in Lagos.
Rocketparrot News gathered a 20-seater commercial bus struck the rails on the recently renovated Third Mainland Bridge, and plunged two of its passengers into the Lagoon.
● Driver, conductor died in auto crash
A drunk truck driver reportedly crashed into a bus on Wednesday around the Castinjo/Ola Bus Stop on the Ota-Idiroko Expressway in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State. The bus driver and the conductor died instantly.
●Three feared dead in Lagos-Ibadan crash
Three persons lost their lives while two others sustained varying degrees of injuries on Wednesday in a single-vehicle crash around Fidiwo Bridge on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The crash, which occurred at about 1.07 pm, involved a green Toyota jeep with registration number BDG213BJ, carrying five passengers.
● Road accident claims two in Anambra
Two yet-to-be-identified individuals have died while one person was injured in a road crash that occurred on the Idemili-Oraifite road near Oba junction in the Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
It was reported that the accident took place at about 7.30 am on Wednesday and involved two trucks colliding with each other.
● One killed in Akwa Ibom cult clashes
A man simply identified as Sylvanus Ukpong was reportedly killed in a cult clash between two rival groups at Ifa Atai in the Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom.
● AGN confirms Junior Pope's death, as three others missing
The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has officially confirmed the passing of Nollywood actor John Paul Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope.
The actor, along with three others, tragically passed away after their boat capsized in the Anam River in Anambra State at a film location.
