Nigerian music executive Michael Collins Ajereh, also known as Don Jazzy, has donated N100 million to the NGO of controversial self-proclaimed activist Martins Otse, alias VeryDarkMan.
The outspoken influencer revealed this in a video message posted on his social media platforms on Thursday.
VDM, who has previously announced the establishment of his NGO, admitted that he panicked when he discovered the money in his bank account.
He added that he felt it was a glitch or a set-up when other persons he contacted to establish whether the money was from them informed him that they had not made the transfer to him.
He claimed he was relieved when he received a message from Don Jazzy notifying him that he had sent the N100 million to support his NGO.
VDM reported receiving over ₦33 million in donations within 24 hours.
He also tweeted a screenshot of the complete donation and expressed gratitude to the donors for their generosity.
The activist said that most individuals gave ₦500 or less, proving their commitment to the cause despite financial limits.
“Barely 24 hours since I announced my NGO, if I tell you how much is in that account now, you would not believe it. First of all, shout out to all the people who have sent money, shout out to the people sending money. God will bless you," stated.
