Nigerian music executive and founder of Mavin Records Don Jazzy has officially appointed Tega Oghenejobo, also known as Tega Mavin, as the record label's new President and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Don Jazzy expressed his excitement about Tega's promotion in a recent post on his official social media page, emphasizing his unwavering dedication and passion for the music industry.
Reflecting on Tega's journey, Don Jazzy described how he had witnessed Tega's interest in the business, as well as his efforts to build effective teams and develop executives within the organisation.
He wrote: “I’m proud to announce Tega’s expanded role as President and COO of Mavin. I am often praised for being able to spot and raise superstars, but I can proudly say the most genius thing I have done in my life was being able to spot the passion and resilience in Tega.
"From the early days, I’ve watched him being curious about the business, build teams, develop executives, and ensure our talents have sustainable careers from the start."
He emphasized Tega’s commitment to ensuring that Mavin’s artistes have sustainable careers from the beginning.

Tega, who was a founding member of Mavin Records in 2012, has been instrumental in the company’s key developments and achievements since its inception.
