LAGOS, Nigeria - Delegates from at least two Local Council Development Areas (LCDA) opted out of the Lagos Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship primary due to ongoing internal conflicts within the party in these councils.
The two councils, from which the delegates withdrew, are Lagos Mainland and Yaba LCDA.
The decision to abstain from Yaba LCDA came just two days after local youths, organized as the Concerned Youth of Yaba, rejected the purported nomination of Joseph Ojo as the party's preferred candidate.
