Davido Set To Headline The BET Awards in Los Angeles

Nigerian Afrobeats Singer, Davido will be the main attraction at the BET Awards show, along with international actors Cardi B, Sexxy Red, and Gunna.
The event is coming up on Sunday, June 30, 2024, in Los Angeles. 

This was revealed in an official statement from the BET Awards. The BET Awards are among the biggest black-dominated awards in the world, so this is a really big accomplishment. 

Performers such as Burnaboy and Wizkid have also performed at the BET Awards before, including Davido. Platforms such as the Grammy Awards have also granted the singer international recognition. 

However, when Davido was probed about his relationship with Wizkid and Burnaboy, he simply said that they are not exactly in the habit of keeping in touch. 

Adding a touch of insight, Davido mentioned that despite their lack of regular communication, they all have each other’s phone numbers, and acknowledged the diversity of their upbringings. 

Davido with a fiery assertion, drove home the point that they’re each holding down different corners of the country. 

Despite their physical distance, he made it crystal clear that they’re all riding high on divine blessings, cementing their positions in the music realm.
