Nigerian afrobeats singer David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has revealed his all-time favorite album, 'Timeless'.

The artist mentioned this in an interview with comedian and actor Broda Shaggi during the unveiling of his new Puma line.

Davido's single 'Timeless', which was released on March 31, 2023, was a huge hit. The album broke first-day and first-week streaming records for Spotify Nigeria, Audiomack, Boomplay, and YouTube.

The album received a Grammy nomination for Best Global Album. It also produced the smash singles 'Unavailable' with Musa Keys, which received a Grammy nomination for Best African Song Performance, and 'Feel', which was nominated for Best Global Song Performance.

During the interview, Davido stated that his upcoming album would be better. He made this assertion earlier this year when he hosted Kai Cenat, an American video maker.

Davido is slated to release his highly anticipated second album with a collaboration with Jamaican singer YG Marley.

The singer told CNN that the album's title, which record producer Don Jazzy offered to him, represents his desire for the album to be recognized for decades as a classic. He also told the news channel that the record went through three phases before reaching its ultimate form.

The 17-track album features collaborations with Skepta, Angelique Kidjo, Asake, Focalistic, The Cavemen, and more. It was produced by Magicsticks, Rage, Darmie, Blaisebeatz, 1da Banton, Caltonic SA, Young Alpha, and others. Timeless is mostly an amapiano record that covers musical styles such as dancehall, reggea, konto, highlife, and Afropop.

The album cover art depicts Davido's head, two imprisoned elephants, and a walkway leading to a giant hourglass. The second single from the album, "Unavailable," gained traction and charted in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Suriname, where it reached the top five. On August 18, 2023, Davido released a remix of "Unavailable" featuring American rapper Latto.
