According to reports, popular Nigerian afro beats performer David Adeleke, well known by his stage name Davido, has left his multi-million naira villa on Banana Island and listed it for rent.
This was announced on the Instagram page of Kofoworola Adewumi, a real estate agent in Lagos State.
"Looking for a beautiful 5-bedroom detached home in the opulent Banana Island neighborhood of Lagos? Look no farther than this magnificent home, which is currently available for rent.
"A glistening pool, a fully equipped kitchen with all the newest equipment and conveniences, and spacious living rooms make up this remarkable home's list of top-of-the-line features.
"This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live in a genuinely extraordinary property in one of Lagos' most coveted districts. Do not pass it up. To schedule a showing, give us a call and see for yourself what makes this home so unique."
Many Davido's followers responded to the agent's post by flooding the comment section, accusing her of trying to gain influence by renting Davido's property.
Adewumi responded to the criticism by writing: "You guys need to quit leaving so many unwanted comments under my article. In the past, Davido occupied the house. Yes!
"However, he has moved out, and the house is now again available for rent. You should all be aware that Davido has moved out if you were all extremely concerned about him and familiar with him to the point that you knew where he lived."
It was learned that the artist was paying $150,000 a year to rent the home.
This occurs just seven months after the singer's kid drowned at the Banana Island residence in October 2022.
