Davido, Lojay make Billboard's 2024 chart-topping songs

Nigerian artistes, Davido and Lojay are among the artistes that have had hit songs on the Billboard Hip Hop and R&B charts.

Afrobeats is seeing global commercial success, particularly in the United States, where Nigerian singers have achieved Billboard chart-topping hits.

Davido and Lojay are the first African artists to be named in the 2024 Billboard Honour Roll, which recognizes chart-topping albums in R&B and Hip Hop from August 1, 2023, to July 31, 2024.

Davido and Lojay entered the list thanks to their contributions to Chris Brown's single 'Sensational,' which peaked at number one on the Adult R&B Airplay Chart.

Both Davido and Lojay have teased the possibility of dropping new albums in 2024 with the latter set to release his highly anticipated debut album. 

Fans will be eager to see another Davido and Chris Brown collaboration on his new album which he described as his best yet.
