Afrobeat singer, Davido has captivated the interest of fans and followers by announcing the creation of his very own meme coin, $DAVIDO.

The news was made on the microblogging platform X, where Davido uploaded a screenshot of his coin, which is built on Solana's blockchain technology.

Surprisingly, $DAVIDO has already risen to the top rank on DEX Screener.

Davido wrote, "It's just me!" #1 in DexTools." 

Following this, Solana's official account greeted Davido, to which he replied, "The King of SOL has arrived! $DAVIDO."

The event has received a lot of attention, particularly from Davido's Nigerian followers.

Many admirers have swiftly invested in the new meme coin, leading to a flood of favorable testimonials applauding the business.
